AdBlue systems are complex, with a high failure rate, requiring – at minimum – partial replacement of an already costly system. Furthermore, if you run out of AdBlue fluid while driving, the vehicle enters limp mode until it is replaced. However, under current UK law, we can only delete the AdBlue system only if you do not intend to drive on public roads.
The diesel particulate filter prevents harmful emissions but it can become clogged if you only do short trips. If you are using the vehicle off road and have the DPF removed then the ECU needs reprogamming.
Exhaust gas recirculation is used to reduce emissions, but the technique can cause carbon deposits inside the engine, and will reduce fuel efficiency. Our solution will disable the EGR valve to increase engine lifespan, and improve fuel efficiency and engine responsiveness. Please note that removal of the EGR can affect the lifespan of the DPF filter.
If your diesel engine starts easily when cold, but not when hot, you may have a hot start problem. While most of these problems are not caused by the ECU, a minority are. With our Hot Start fix, we can resolve this potentially dangerous issue with your engine.
The ‘Popcorn’ (Hard Cut) Limiter tells your vehicle’s ECU to cut fuelling to the engine at a set RPM (normally 4300rpm), causing it to bounce off the limiter, making a diesel sound more like a petrol engine. This will not change engine performance, only how it sounds.
Many vehicles come with a speed limiter due to varying market restrictions across different countries. We can disable this limiter and allow your vehicle to reach its true top speed.
Many drivers find start/stop systems to be highly annoying. With our Start/ Stop Disable remap, we will reprogram the ECU on your vehicle so the feature is disabled permanently.
Swirl flaps are designed to improve combustion at low engine RPM but, unfortunately, they are easily clogged with soot or damaged by EGR problems. Our swirl flap removal software will disable the swirl flap and prevent the risk of damage to your engine.
* Please note; these solutions are for OFF ROAD USE ONLY. They are software solutions and not the physical removal or disabling of these functions. Regulation 61a of the road vehicles (constructions and use) regulations.
Be advised that in the unlikely event that your dealer ‘detects’ our remap, this may invalidate your manufacturer’s warranty.
You are legally obliged to tell your current or prospective insurer of any and all modifications made to your vehicle.
Be aware that if your vehicle is purchased through a finance plan, such as Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) or Hire Purchase (HP), that you are the ‘keeper’ and not the ‘owner’ of said vehicle. You are therefore contractually obliged to contact your lender and obtain written permission from them for any non-standard modifications.
Please remember that every vehicle is unique and manufacturers will sometimes put different ECUs into the same car and many vehicles have unusual configurations or modifications which are only apparent when reading the ECU. As such, we recommend that you discuss the potential gains and tuning options available directly with our engineer.
Remap Kings tuning database is constantly being refined, amended, updated and expanded. Remap Kings is confident that its data is amongst the most comprehensive ECU tuning and remapping data currently available anywhere in the world.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure the data in above table is up-to-date and accurate, it should only be used as a guide. It is possible that the economy and performance gains available are in excess of those stated above, conversely actual gains may be less than the current data suggests.
Offer ends 31st of January 2020. A non-refundable deposit of £50.00 is required. Booking must be before February 29th 2020. Money is off full priced remaps only. No cash alternative is available.
